Hey footy fanatics!!!
It was soooo much fun to take part in the Kampion Card Game. Totally check it out if you haven't already! Personally this was great simply because of the AMAZING artists that also took part in this fun little project. Plenty of individuals whom I admire already, plus many more that I've come to follow now too!
One of my favourite players in Bastian Schweinsteiger, so naturally he was the inspiration behind this card. I grew up watching German football as well, so it was rather fitting to work on this card while watching Germany's run to the World Cup championship in Brazil.
What quickly became one of my favourite TV shows became a piece of fan art shortly after. This True Detective trading card was featured in the 2014 CARDED! show. The title is lifted straight from the show's dialogue in reference to the eternal return concept.
CARDED! is a rather fun show, and it was my second year participating. It is a fun gallery experience... a really REALLY fun gallery experience which if you live in the Vancouver area I strongly recommend checking out.
Did you know 1984 was a great year for movies? Coming up on Friday the 13th of June, the next show from Hot Art Wet City will feature art paying homage to many of these fine flicks in Revenge of the Art Show!
I'm happy to say that I will be participating with this poster featuring the A to Z of the Ghostbustin' biz. I drooled over both movies, both cartoons, had the toys, and even dressed up as Ray Stantz for Halloween.
Prints will be available at Hot Art Wet City, and also in my shop on the 13th of June. :)
A popular tribute to The Littlest Hobo (which can still be purchased over at Hot Art Wet City). This classic Canadian TV show from the 1980s was a staple for me back in the day. During summer holidays I'd watch reruns of The Littlest Hobo as he would keep on keepin' on...
Each year I do a series of Movember-themed sketches. Those who donate to my personal campaign receive a finished sketch for free. Here are some of the favourites from the past couple of years.
For greater details surrounding my Movember sketch per day thingy, be sure to check out my blog... if you feel like it.
I design an ongoing series of posters for local rocker and guitar teacher Blue Morris. Rock & Roll Burlesque is a monthly show featuring a variety of top talent from the Vancouver burlesque scene and beyond, all to the tune of live rock music. It's a helluva show, and great fun to do monthly posters for!
Rock & Roll Burlesque is copyright of Blue Morris Productions. Poster design by me, with photo credits/images courtesy of the respective performers and photographers.
The Big Lebowski is probably my favourite movie, plus I truly love bowling to boot. Professional bowling never really caught on in these parts, however I feel that this great sport should still have its own series of trading cards. The Legends of Bowling is an illustrated series featuring the characters from this cult classic.
These cards really tie the collection together.
Each year I draw a picture a day during the Movember campaign for Men's Health. The deal is... you request a moustache-themed picture, I sketch it. You donate, you get a sketch for free. See the Hall of the Mo for some of the finished favourites.
Having people close to me affected by prostate cancer, participation in Movember has become kind of a big deal. I'm happy to raise money and bring awareness to the fight against cancer in general.
This gallery is composed of images from my day job. It's a lot of child's play... really! I take part in creating kids games, activity books, apps, etc. In my time with Kidzsmart I have done a number of cool projects, however I fancy some of the sporty projects the most, mainly because I'm a bit of a sport nut myself. I should also note that many of these major sport clients are dedicated to community involvement, goal setting, education, and all sorts of motivational initiatives... which is a bucket of awesome!

I had the itch to dabble in a little brand makeover, just for fun. One thing led to another and here I am with a brand new website. With the rebrand I wanted to keep the sheep, but play around with some more imagery that would give me the option of a nice stamp to put on things.
